How to Designate Your Gift

You can designate that your Campaign gift apply toward the areas of Jewish life that you feel most passionate about.

You can specify that your gift be undesignated, or designated for:

Undesignated

As in years past, the Federation Allocations Committee holds a series of meetings with community and agency representatives and then makes grant recommendations to the Board. Undesignated funds are allocated to support a wide range of needs including education, seniors and social services both at home and overseas. More

Local

Funds in this category are allocated to support a wide range of programs here in the Silicon Valley. From Jewish education and seniors to recent immigrants and teens, these dollars help Jews in need here at home. More

International Rescue & Relief

These funds are used to support programs in Israel, the Former Soviet Union (FSU) and wherever there are Jews in need. These funds will also help Jews who do not emigrate to Israel—including those in Cuba, Argentina, Morocco, Azerbijan, Poland, Bosnia, and more than 50 other countries. Pluralism & Co-existence

These funds support programs in Israel that promote pluralism and co-existence in Israeli society. They include programs sponsored by the Reform, Conservative and Modern Orthodox movements, women's organizations and others. More
