Jewish camps provide children the chance to come together with other Jews and have fun. At camp, young people are exposed to Jewish customs and rituals. They are infused with Jewish culture, values and learning and the comraderie of being in a Jewish community. This experience has proven a strong indicator of involvement in Jewish life in later years.
